3,200 devices. 736 MWh/year. €118,000.
1,147 never sleep.

Here’s what sobrii reveals on a typical fleet. Real consumption per device, sleep blockers identified, batteries graded, CO₂ measured — no external sensor, no spreadsheet, no estimation.

The invisible waste

Your devices burn energy all night. You’re paying without knowing.

No tool in your stack measures what your IT fleet actually consumes. Here’s what that costs.

A third of your devices never sleep
35.8% of devices have a process blocking sleep. Windows Update, OneDrive, Teams in the background. Result: 53 MWh wasted per year — €8,600 in electricity thrown away. Every night.
391 batteries replaced too early
Without tracking charge cycles and wear levels, you replace batteries that had 12 months of life left. 391 avoidable replacements across your fleet — that’s €25,400 in hardware.
A CSR report you can’t defend
Your IT carbon footprint is calculated from industry averages. The day the auditor asks for per-device measurements, the gap between your report and reality will be the first finding.
sobrii doesn’t calculate averages. It measures every device. Every watt. Every night.
You go from "we estimate" to "we know." On every device. From day one.
Consumption

Real consumption, not estimates

The agent reads real-time power draw — CPU, GPU, RAM, disk — on every device. No spreadsheet, no industry average, no guesswork.

Battery

Replace batteries at the right time — not too early, not too late

Every battery is graded from A (excellent) to F (replace). Charge cycles, wear level, original vs current capacity — everything is tracked automatically.

B

C

D

F

Who it’s for

One dashboard, three problems solved

IT Manager
Identify the devices that never sleep, target sleep blockers by impact, and go from 53 MWh wasted to zero. Real data, not assumptions.
CSR / ESG Manager
Get auditable, per-device energy and carbon data for CSRD and GHG Protocol reporting. One-click CSV export. No more spreadsheets of industry averages.
CFO
€8,600 in overnight waste. €25,400 in batteries replaced too early. €34,000/year recoverable. sobrii puts an exact number on every line — ROI in weeks.

FAQ

How does sobrii measure energy consumption?
The Rust agent reads real-time power draw from OS power APIs (RAPL on Intel/AMD, SMC on Mac). It records CPU, GPU, RAM and disk separately, then calculates total watt-hours per device per day. No external sensor, no estimation.
Where does the manufacturing CO₂ data come from?
sobrii uses a Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) database compiling manufacturer data. For devices without published data, it estimates from device category, components and weight using market benchmarks.
Can sobrii generate CSRD / GHG Protocol reports?
Yes. Energy and carbon data exports to CSV, compatible with CSRD, REEN, and GHG Protocol reporting. The data is measured, not estimated — which is increasingly required by auditors.
What does the energy Benchmark module do?
The Benchmark compares energy consumption per application and per device model. It assigns a grade from A (efficient) to F (energy-hungry), letting you identify which applications and configurations cost the most in electricity.
How quickly will I see energy savings?
The agent starts collecting data from day one. Within two weeks, you have the full picture: sleep quality per device, ranked blockers, wasted kWh. Teams that act on the first blocker report typically see a 15-25% reduction in overnight consumption within 30 days.
What’s the minimum fleet size for ROI?
sobrii pays for itself from 50 devices. The agent cost is lower than the savings from sleep blockers alone. The larger the fleet, the more waste is identified — and the faster the ROI.
Does it work on Mac and Linux?
Yes. The agent runs on Windows, macOS and Linux. Energy measurement uses each OS’s native APIs: RAPL on Intel/AMD, SMC on Mac, powercap on Linux. Same precision, same dashboard.
